First wave of bespoke home project complete

The latest bespoke home to be completed at Butts Corner, North Petherton, was taken on by the Homes in Sedgemoor Development Team this week.

This project started life as void three-bed council house with a large garden. The team worked hand-in-hand with Somerset Council’s occupational therapy team to reconfigure the existing house and garden area to refurbish and extend the house to provide a new six-bed bespoke designed house for a family who have unique housing needs.

A brand new three-bed house was built in the garden area too.

The six-bed home includes a through floor lift and numerous adaptions specific to the needs of the family, which means this new home is life changing for the family.

These homes brings a close to the first wave of the Homes in Sedgemoor Bespoke Homes Programme. The team is currently working on the next wave of bespoke homes.
