£30 to pensioners

The supermarket Iceland will be offering £30 vouchers to pensioners.

Iceland will also take ten per cent off shopping bills every Tuesday for those aged 60 or over. 

You can claim and start redeeming your vouchers on Friday, September 16, 2022. 

In the meantime, you will have to register for the vouchers by calling 0800 098 7877. 

How does the discount work?

There is no minimum spend and the discount will only apply one day a week which is a Tuesday. 

To claim the Iceland discount, you will need to show proof of age at the checkout. This could include: 

• Driving licence 
• Passport 
• Proof of age card

If you are struggling, we can also offer you a Foodbank voucher which your Income Officer can issue to you. 

The voucher will be electronic, and you can use it at either the Bridgwater, Highbridge and Cheddar food banks.

To receive a voucher, you will need to provide us with a short description as to why you are needing it.
