The winners of this year’s Children’s Art Week competition have been announced.
The theme of the week was all about nature so we asked local children what their dream garden would look like.
Community Enabler, Sharon said:
“This competition was a great opportunity for children to show off their Imagination and creativity, and to have fun whilst drawing and painting. We would like to thank all the young people who got involved and congratulate our winners.”
In the under-six category, the prize went to Alivia whose picture of her dream garn the over-six category the winner was eight-year-old Isabelle who created not one but two imaginative pictures. Her entry and took her a whole day to create and her efforts blew the judges away.
Isabelle won an Artibox Art Set in a wooden case. Her entry included a maze, fruit trees, a tree house and a swimming pool. Alivia won a BIC Kids Colouring Set.
The entries were judged by a panel of Involved Customers.
Congratulations to both our winners for their fantastic entries and thanks to everyone who took part for their artistic efforts.
