Meet and Greet event a great success

Homes in Sedgemoor hosted a meet and greet event this at Bridgwater House, as a chance for councillors to learn more about what we do.

The event was well attended by colleagues from each team and Somerset Councillors who were keen to understand and learn more about social housing in Sedgemoor.

Peter Hatch, Chief Executive of HiS, said: “We were delighted to host elected members and officers from across Somerset, meeting our colleagues and Board members and sharing our new corporate strategy.    Housing is such an important aspect of all our lives so it was great that so many councillors could give up their precious time to visit us and hear more about the great homes and services that we deliver within the community.  Partnership working is central to our success and sits at the centre of our new strategy.   On behalf of our Board and colleagues, I want to thank everyone who was able to join us on what was a rather wintry evening!”
